Innovation Health® Expands Medicare Plans to Shenandoah
FALLS CHURCH, Va., October 5, 2020 — Innovation Health, a joint venture between Inova® and Aetna®, a CVS Health® company, announced it’s expanding its Medicare plans to a new county. Starting October 15, individuals eligible for Medicare and who live in Shenandoah County may enroll in Innovation Health PPO and HMO plans. These plans will be effective January 1, 2021.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has driven a number of Virginians to re-examine what they need from their health care. In this time of physical distancing, many Medicare beneficiaries have been stuck at home. To help maintain their total health, we’ve been working to bring high-quality care that takes into account their body, mind and spirit directly to them,” said William Seabolt, Innovation Health Chief Growth Officer of Medicare. “Shenandoah is just the latest area where we are offering these services. Now its residents can access telehealth, remote behavioral health and virtual fitness programs, like our SilverSneakers® benefit, all from their homes.”
Innovation Health has continued its commitment to offering a range of affordable HMO and PPO plans starting at a $0 monthly plan premium. And given the COVID-19 pandemic, Innovation Health has ensured its members can safely access care while physically distancing, offering copays starting at $0 for virtual visits with their primary care physicians and cost shares for generic mail-order, Tier 1 drugs starting at $0.
