FALLS CHURCH, VA., October 7, 2019 – Innovation Health, a joint venture between Inova and Aetna, announced it is expanding its Medicare Advantage plan offering into six new areas across Northern Virginia. Residents of Clarke County, Fauquier County, Frederick County, Page County, Warren County, along with the city of Winchester, can enroll in an Innovation Health Medicare 2020 plan starting October 15.
“At Innovation Health, we are committed to offering a wide variety of plans to as many people as possible,” said Dr. Sunil Budhrani, Innovation Health’s CEO and Chief Medical Officer. “This ensures that beneficiaries from all over Northern Virginia can access a plan that fits their needs and get the personalized care they deserve.”
Starting October 15, Medicare beneficiaries in these new counties will be able to enroll in one of Innovation Health’s PPO or HMO plans, which include health and drug coverage. Innovation Health-Aetna Medicare Connect (HMO) plan is a multi-zero plan, which includes $0 monthly plan premiums, $0 preferred PCP copays*, $0 deductibles* on medical services, $0 deductibles on Rx and $0 cost-sharing for preferred retail and mail-order Tier1 drugs. These plans would be effective on January 1, 2020.
