Nannette G. Henderson
Chief Financial Officer
Nannette Henderson, Chief Financial Officer, accepted her leadership position with Innovation Heath in May 2013 and is responsible for financial activities in support of the new partnership between Aetna and Inova.
Prior to joining Innovation Health, she was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NYLCare Health Plans of the Mid-Atlantic for 13 years. In that position, she was responsible for all finance, underwriting, human resources and information technology functions. Her time there included an election by her peers as the President of the Maryland Association of Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), where she represented the Maryland HMOs on a variety of issues throughout the state. After leaving NYLCare, Nannette accepted the founding Chief Financial Officer position with Digital Insurance, where she served in that position until 2001 when she left the workforce to stay at home and raise her four daughters.
While a stay at home mother, Nannette provided accounting and consulting services to a wide variety of small businesses and non-profits, including tax and regulatory filings related to starting nonprofit tax exempt organizations in Virginia. She is also heavily involved as a Board member in the parent teacher organizations of her children's schools and is an active volunteer in their various sports and extracurricular activities. Nannette has received numerous awards for her volunteer work in recognition for her commitment to the well-being of children and educational advocacy.
